PMSHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Almora is rooted in the vision of providing quality education to the children of transferable Central Government employees, including Defense and Para-Military personnel. Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) are a system of central government schools under the Ministry of Education (formerly Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India. They were established to ensure uninterrupted education for the children of government employees who are frequently transferred across the country.
